OCR: The dominion of the dinosaurs took place during the Mesozoic Era(240-65 million years ago) of Earth's history. Dinosaurs from the many suborders lived throughout three periods of the Mesozoic EM: Triassic (240-190m), Jurassic (190-135m), and Cretaceous (135-65m). During the earthshaking age of dinosaurs, the continents were fused together, forming one massive land mass (Pangaea), enabling prehistoric beasts to migrate from shore to shore. The shape and climate of the earth has shifted dramatically these last 65 million years. Animals living then simply were not designed for present-day life. It would be an outright impossibility for a modern explorer to stumble across a live dinosaur tucked away in some remote region of the world, though it would make a tempting headline. Mesozoic monsters only rampage modern cities in the movies.
